Things to ponder: Imagination is everything

Something to get your thoughts going

Things to ponder – “Imagination is everything”

I think Einstein had it right about imagination (and a lot of other things too, of course). I strongly believe that our thoughts are powerful and magnetic . It is what we imagine and think about constantly, that we attract into our lives – both the good and bad. That is the law of attraction at play.

      1. I think a lot comes down to strength of mind. I find I get up quickly in the morning when I wake as that is the time when thoughts swirl around almost at whim. If I get up and start my day, they are more controlled. I also find you get better at disciplining one’s thoughts with practice. Like many things in life, I guess.

      1. I first heard about it in a documentary called ‘The Secret’ (by Rhonda Byrne). According to the law of attraction like attracts like. Which means that what we think about we bring out. It’s not all our thoughts and it’s not instantaneous. It’s what we think about deeply, constantly and with conviction that have this magnetic power. I’ve come to really believe in it over the years. Wrote a bit about it in this post – https://janontheblog.com/2020/09/04/thinking-your-way-through-to-career-success/

      2. A self-fulfilling prophecy, positive thinking or shaping one’s one future. If the incentive is big enough, we can make it happen! One of my favourite adages is: If it is to be, it is up to me. All two letter words, but so powerful. I will look at the link. Thank you.
